2024 | Branding and Product Design BioSPY: Biome Bubbles
Overview and Key Ideas:
Nurturing and inspiring curiosity, BioSPY is children’s toy brand focused on inspiring environmentally conscious advocates in future generations by raising awareness of the fragile beauty of our ecosystems. Guiding kids to be curious about the environment through inspection and play.
The product itself consists of four, fishbowl shaped glasses filled with resin, sand, sticks, and handmade polymer clay animals. Ribbons are tied around the neck of the glasses to give a three dimensional element to them.
The packaging was made from reused and repurposed materials. The textural aspects provide a sensory element for kids and add visual appeal to the box. Its curved edges shape echo the curves within the branding. The blue gel inserts on the sides and underneath the front and back covers add a bright pop of color and reflect when exposed to light.
Branding project completed over Spring 2024 displayed at the 2025 Undergraduate Arts Exhibition in February
